Our First Online VBS | Athens, 2022
During the COVID-19 pandemic, our VBS team in California, the United States was unable to travel to Greece. Instead, we connected live through Zoom and held our first three-day online Vacation Bible School in 2022. Though separated by distance, the children and volunteers came together for worship, Bible lessons, activities, and joyful fellowship—reminding us that God’s work continues beyond every barrier.
Cihan’s Hanbok Design
Türkiye, 2018
In June 2018, Missionary Kelly Shin led a special Hanbok program for seven selected students at Marmara University. Cihan, the only male participant, approached the traditional Korean garment with remarkable creativity and dedication. This video follows the process of creating his Hanbok and preserves a meaningful moment of cultural exchange during our ministry in Türkiye.
VBS in Athens — Growing Together

A Blessing of Gratitude —
Athens Grace Church, Sep. 2023
Members of Athens Grace Church came together to create this video as an expression of gratitude to the churches, friends, and supporters in Los Angeles and Seoul who have walked alongside our ministry. Set to the Persian version of “The Blessing,” the images carry a simple message of thanksgiving, prayer, and blessing across the distance.

K-12 After-School Program — 2022
In January 2022, Koinonia interviewed and selected 25 students for its K–12 educational program. Classes began in February and continued through December. At the end of the program, the students used the English they had learned during the year to express their gratitude to Fred and Kelly Shin and to the teachers who had taught and walked alongside them.
