Since 2015, God has led Koinonia Ministry through Turkey, Greece, and beyond—opening doors to serve refugees and migrants, equip Christian leaders, establish churches and Home Churches, and provide biblical education.

A CALLING TO TURKEY
2015
Our ministry journey began in Turkey, where we built relationships and served among refugees, migrants, and local communities.
A NEW VISION AMONG REFUGEES
2018
Through encounters with Persian refugees in Greece, we recognized the urgent need to equip Christian leaders who could disciple believers and serve their communities.
A NEW CHAPTER IN ATHENS
2019
We moved to Athens, Greece, and began building relationships with Persian refugees, migrants, and local Christian communities.
KOINONIA EDUCATION CENTER
2020
The Koinonia Education Center has begun offering Bible education, discipleship training, and leadership training in Athens through both offline and online.
SERVING REFUGEE CHILDREN
2021
A K–12 educational program was launched to support refugee children and families through learning, encouragement, and practical care.
The ministry was also established as a California nonprofit religious corporation.
GRACE CHURCH KIRIKKALE BEGINS
2022
On November 13, Pastors Harpak and Ghazaal began a Home Church in Kirikkale, Türkiye, laying the foundation for a growing Christian community.
CHURCHES TAKE ROOT
2023
On March 12, Grace Church Kirikkale began worshiping in a new location with the support of a ministry partner. Athens Grace Church was also established on May 7 as a multicultural Christian community in Athens.
2024
LEADERS EQUIPPED
Pastors Harpak and Ghazaal completed their Master of Divinity degrees, marking an important milestone in the ministry’s commitment to developing Christian leaders.
BIBLE COLLEGE EUROPE
2025
Bible College Europe opened in Athens to provide biblical education, discipleship, leadership development, and practical ministry training for Persian-speaking refugees and migrants.
LEADERS SENT FORTH
2026
On April 17, Pastors Harpak and Ghazal were ordained for pastoral ministry in Istanbul, marking a new chapter of leadership, church ministry, and the vision to establish more Home Churches.
