Refugees and migrants often face displacement, uncertainty, language barriers, and separation from familiar communities.
Koinonia Ministry walks alongside refugees and migrants through compassionate relationships, Christian fellowship, practical support, Bible education, discipleship, and leadership development.
We seek to create welcoming communities where individuals and families are treated with dignity, strengthened in faith, encouraged to use their gifts, and equipped to serve others.

FROM REFUGEES TO LEADERS

In 2018, relationships with Persian-speaking refugees in Greece revealed a deep need for pastors and Christian leaders who could teach God’s Word, disciple believers, and serve their communities in their own languages and cultural contexts.
In 2020, Koinonia Education Center was established to provide Bible education and support the development of emerging Christian leaders. This vision now continues through Bible College Europe, mentoring, discipleship, and practical ministry training.
Today, refugee- and migrant-background believers are being equipped to teach Scripture, lead Home Churches, serve local churches, care for others, and help develop the next generation of Christian leaders.

ATHENS, GREECE
In Athens, refugees and migrants gather through Athens Grace Church, Bible College Europe, Home Churches, Bible study, worship, fellowship, and discipleship.
These ministries provide places where individuals and families can belong, grow in faith, develop their gifts, and prepare to serve others.
KIRIKKALE, TÜRKIYE

In Kirikkale, Grace Church Kirikkale serves believers, refugees, migrants, children, and families through worship, Bible teaching, language education, discipleship, and practical community service.
The church nurtures faith, strengthens relationships, develops emerging leaders, and shares the hope of Christ within the local community.
